As part of this project, Nicklaus performed a Traffic Study that included the collection of existing traffic data and the analysis of the intersection using Synchro software and HCM 6th Edition guidance. The results of the traffic study indicated the need for signalization of the intersection and Nicklaus moved into the design phase. The design phase included a topographic survey of the site, performance of a geotechnical survey and completion of design drawings for the new intersection.
