Nicklaus was hired by the Town of Gila Bend to provide A/E services for a renovation and expansion of the existing community center. The renovated facility included a full commercial kitchen with ample storage space and new walk-in freezer and cooler combo unit; new ADA showers to be used when the facility is needed as an emergency shelter; new remodeled and fully ADA compliant restrooms; new office and an expanded and renovated multi-purpose/community room.
