Nicklaus was contracted by the City of Somerton to provide a master plan for their west complex which currently houses their existing waste water treatment plant and existing recycling center. The new complex masterplan needed to accommodate the future expansion of the waste water treatment plant and recycling center while providing a space for a new 7,200 sf storage building, 5,600 sf maintenance shop with five (5) bays, 3,000 sf office building, fueling station, green disposal area and dog kennel building.
