Arizona State Parks Water/Sewer Infrastructure Improvements


Nicklaus was initially tasked with evaluating and upgrading water and wastewater facilities at 26 parks located throughout the State. Over a 10-year period, AZ State Parks modified our contract to include additional facilities as needed. Our staff of engineers, environmental scientists, surveyors, and architects were all instrumental in meeting the challenges of this contract. The projects included upgrading/repairing on-site treatment plants, septic and leach fields, evapotranspiration beds, effluent re-use facilities, as well as drinking water infrastructure. A few examples of projects successfully completed on this contract: Tonto Natural Bridge New On-Site Wastewater Treatment System; Catalina New On-Site Wastewater Treatment System; Kartchner Caverns 8” Waterline & Booster Stations; Alamo Lake new 50,000 Gallon Ground Water Storage Tank Design and New Sewer Lift Station Design; Roper Lake New RV Dump Station & Leach Field Design; Lake Havasu and Six New Restrooms Facilities and a New Concession Stand; Buckskin Mountain New Restroom Facility; New Sewer Lift Station; Picacho Peak New Sewer Lift Station; Sewer Force Main; and Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrades; River Island New Hydropneumatic Tank Above Ground Storage Tank and Booster Pumps; Sandpoint Marina and RV Resort Facilities Assessment.
